Garlic Chutney (Lahsun)

Garlic chutney, also known as “lahsun” chutney, is a popular condiment in Indian cuisine that is made from garlic, along with other ingredients such as chili peppers, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, and lemon juice. The ingredients are ground together to form a spicy, tangy, and slightly pungent sauce that can be used as a dip or spread.

जीरा1/2 छोटा चम्मच
धनिया पाउडर2 छोटे चम्मच

Method in English

Remove the skin from the garlic cloves and serve them on a small plate.

Grind the garlic cloves, cumin seeds, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt in a grinder until you have a medium coarse paste. (Do not add water while grinding.)

Transfer the prepared chutney to a serving bowl and serve with Gujarati bhakri and tomato curry (sev tameta nu shaak) at dinner. You can store this chutney in a small airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

لہسن کے لونگ سے جلد کو نکال کر چھوٹی پلیٹ میں پیش کریں۔

لہسن کے لونگ، زیرہ، دھنیا پاؤڈر، لال مرچ پاؤڈر، اور نمک کو گرائنڈر میں پیس لیں جب تک کہ آپ کے پاس درمیانی موٹا پیسٹ نہ ہوجائے۔ (پیستے وقت پانی نہ ڈالیں۔)

تیار شدہ چٹنی کو سرونگ پیالے میں منتقل کریں اور رات کے کھانے میں گجراتی بھکری اور ٹماٹر کری (سیو تمیتا نو شاک) کے ساتھ پیش کریں۔ آپ اس چٹنی کو ایک چھوٹے سے ائیر ٹائٹ کنٹینر میں فریج میں ایک ہفتے تک محفوظ کر سکتے ہیں۔

लहसुन की कलियों से त्वचा निकालें और उन्हें एक छोटी प्लेट में परोसें।

लहसुन की कलियां, जीरा, धनिया पाउडर, लाल मिर्च पाउडर और नमक को मिक्सी में तब तक पीसें जब तक आपका मध्यम दरदरा पेस्ट न बन जाए। (पीसते समय पानी न डालें।)

तैयार चटनी को प्याले में निकालिये और गुजराती भाकरी और टमाटर की सब्जी (सेव तमेटा नू शाक) के साथ रात के खाने में परोसिये. आप इस चटनी को एक छोटे एयरटाइट कंटेनर में भरकर फ्रिज में एक हफ्ते तक स्टोर कर सकते हैं।
